Softball Recap: East Has No Trouble Against Mifflin

East's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mifflin Punchers as they made off with a 30-21 win. The Tigers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 24-4).

East moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Mifflin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will venture away from home to take on Centennial at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Stars will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mifflin, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
