Baseball Game Preview: Hilliard Bradley Jaguars vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs

The Hilliard Bradley Jaguars will take on the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hilliard Bradley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hilliard Bradley duked it out with Lincoln on Saturday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Lions by a score of 8-5.

Keaton Bowers was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Ritch, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Bloom-Carroll came up short against Teays Valley on Wednesday and fell 9-5.

Hilliard Bradley pushed their record up to 11-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bloom-Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.
