With a playoff win on the line, Miller City rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Leipsic Vikings a 2-0 shutout. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Wildcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Miller City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Leipsic, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12-1.

As of now, neither Miller City nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
