Benton won the last time they faced Cameron and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cardinals blew past the Dragons 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Benton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cameron between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-19.

Benton's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Cameron, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Benton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Central on the 15th. As for Cameron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Northwest on the 13th.
