Durant won the last time they faced Sumner and things went their way on Thursday too. The Durant Cougars walked away with a 4-2 win over the Sumner Stingrays. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

They hit Sumner with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mykala Ulrich (2), Sydney Kachurak, and Karlie Collins.

Durant has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six games. As for Sumner, they moved to 8-1 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
