Quincy came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Marshfield Rams 65-40. Given the Presidents' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Rams are ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Quincy pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Marshfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Coming up, Quincy is taking a road trip to square off against Hingham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshfield, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hanover at 6:30 p.m.
