Basketball Recap: Pateros' Loss Ends 12-Game Winning Streak at Home

Pateros and Oakesdale squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pateros had to settle for second. They fell to the Oakesdale Nighthawks 51-47. While the Billygoats/Nannies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Nighthawks 16-9 in the first quarter.

Pateros' loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.6 points on average over those games. As for Oakesdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Pateros nor Oakesdale have any future games scheduled.
