On Tuesday West Washington's undefeated season almost came to an end. They never let the Trinity Lutheran Cougars get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The two-run effort marked the Senators' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
The result came thanks to Hayden Morrow's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
