Basketball Recap: Glencoe Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Glencoe had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the Yale Bulldogs by a score of 72-59. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Glencoe's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Yale, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.

Glencoe will have a chance to go back-to-back against Yale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
