Hilton Head Island has gone 8-1 against Hampton County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. Hilton Head Island has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Hilton Head Island's offense. They lost 16-0 to Colleton County last Friday. The Seahawks haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Hampton County waltzed into their matchup last Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They beat the Buccaneers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 26-6. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won five games by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Hampton County pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.8 runs over those games. As for Hilton Head Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Hilton Head Island took their victory against Hampton County in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 17-8 score. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Hurricanes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
