Basketball Recap: Throckmorton Triumphs

Throckmorton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Woodson Cowboys out 35-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Greyhounds have posted since November 9, 2024.

Throckmorton pushed their record up to 9-15 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Woodson, Perrin-Whitt, and Garner. As for Woodson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Throckmorton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-22 win against Garner on the 28th. As for Woodson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-32 defeat against Perrin-Whitt on the 28th.
