Volleyball Recap: Fort Payne Beats Pleasant Valley for Their Third Straight Victory

Fort Payne had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pleasant Valley Raiders by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

While Fort Payne won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 27-25.

Fort Payne's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Pleasant Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Fort Payne will challenge Etowah at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will welcome Jacksonville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
