Aaliyah Chavez Game Report: vs Coronado

Aaliyah Chavez continued her hot streak on Tuesday by dropping her 28th-straight game with at least 16 points. She dropped a double-double on 50 points and ten rebounds. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Coronado back in December of 2023, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Chavez has scored at least a third of Monterey's points.

Chavez and Monterey will head out on the road to take on Plainview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Plainsmen got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bulldogs, probably because Chavez had a solid game then too: she dropped a double-double on 46 points and 15 rebounds.
