Volleyball Recap: Bloom Takes a Loss

Bloom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Thornton Fractional North Meteors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Meteors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8.

Bloom's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Thornton Fractional North, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Bloom is taking a road trip to take on Crete-Monee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thornton Fractional North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richards at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
