Volleyball Recap: Brenham Takes a Loss

Brenham lost against New Braunfels back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cubs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unicorns.

Antyiahna Lang paced Brenham's offense, picking up eight kills. Lang got some help from Brinley Benson and her eight assists.

New Braunfels' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordynn Ash led the charge by getting 13 digs.

Brenham now has a losing record of 2-3. As for New Braunfels, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Brenham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Brentwood Christian on the 15th. As for New Braunfels, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stony Point on the 15th.
