Softball Recap: Madison Comprehensive Takes a Loss

Madison Comprehensive's last matchup with Mt. Vernon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Rams lost 11-2 to the Yellowjackets. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Madison Comprehensive now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Mt. Vernon, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Coincidentally, Madison Comprehensive and Mt. Vernon will both be playing Marysville the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Monarchs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Yellowjackets will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
