Soccer Recap: Fossil Ridge Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Fossil Ridge faced off against Celina on Friday. The Fossil Ridge Panthers lost 3-0 to the Celina Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while the Bobcats are ranked sixth).

Fossil Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Celina, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Fossil Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Lewisville on the 18th. Celina has also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Randall on the 18th.
