Pretty Prairie's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Skyline Thunderbirds 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since December 9, 2024.

Pretty Prairie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evan W Young, who posted 14 points along with five boards and three steals. W Young is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Owen Anderson, who on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.

Pretty Prairie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Skyline and nudges their season record down to 5-14-1.

Coming up, Pretty Prairie will take on South Gray in a tournament on March 3rd. South Gray is on a five-game streak of home wins, Pretty Prairie a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
