The HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots will take on Kankakee Trinity Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kankakee Trinity Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on HomeSchool Resource Center, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, HomeSchool Resource Center turned things around against Varsity Opponent on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Varsity Opponent 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since April 10th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was HomeSchool Resource Center who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Kankakee Trinity Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kankakee. Considering the last time Kankakee Trinity Academy couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Kankakee Trinity Academy was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 6-11. As for Kankakee Trinity Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
