They took a blow against the Brazos Cougars, falling 61-13. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Rice Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brazos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Rice Consolidated will welcome Industrial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brazos, they will take on Boling at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
