Baseball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont was the 4-1 winner over White Cloud when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Packers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The Packers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trent Gibbie made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Zerlaut, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for White Cloud, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-18.

Fremont has already played their next match (against Grant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for White Cloud, they will challenge Shelby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
