Altamont waltzed into their match  on Friday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They came out on top against the Milford Tigers by a score of  12-8. This was a revenge game for the Longhorns: when they faced off against the Tigers  back in March, they had to take a  5-2  loss.
 Kiley Crapo made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up  six earned  (and two unearned) runs off   seven  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Lacie Long was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Corryn Webb was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Altamont  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in four consecutive  contests.
Altamont's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-4. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Milford, their  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Altamont beat the Tigers by a score of  11-10 later that day.
