Baseball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton and Father McGivney Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Carrollton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Griffins, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Carrollton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Father McGivney Catholic, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 34-3.

As of now, neither Carrollton nor the Griffins have any future games scheduled.
