Volleyball Recap: Mclean Starts Season with Victory Against Chantilly + How To Watch

McLean had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Chantilly Chargers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Highlanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 25-18, 25-19.

McLean found their leader in sophomore Jose Eslinger, who had 13 digs and three assists.

McLean wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Justice on the 27th. As for Chantilly, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
