Basketball Game Preview: Grand Valley Mustangs vs. Jefferson Area Falcons

Grand Valley is 1-8 against Jefferson Area since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Grand Valley Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jefferson Area Falcons at 6:45 p.m. Grand Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Jefferson Area likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, everything went Grand Valley's way against Conneaut as Grand Valley made off with a 71-50 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

As for Grand Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.
