Volleyball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Claymont Mustangs, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-4, 25-12.

Sophia Henderson paced Edison's offense, picking up three kills. Henderson also shared the team's lead in assists with Graclynn Dray: they picked up two each.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Claymont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Edison has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Steubenville on the 28th. As for Claymont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hiland on the 28th.
