Basketball Recap: Trion Takes a Loss

Trion lost a heartbreaker to Manchester when they met last Saturday, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Trion Bulldogs fell to the Manchester Blue Devils 38-32. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, with their most recent loss being a 39-36 defeat last Saturday.

Among those leading the charge was Kaliya Gray, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was NyAsia Hunt, who had eight points.

Trion has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Manchester, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Trion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manchester, they will face off against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
