Softball Game Preview: Waterloo Bulldogs vs. Belleville East Lancers

Waterloo hasn't had much luck against Belleville East recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Waterloo will look to defend their home field against Belleville East at 4:30 p.m.

Waterloo is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Dunlap on Saturday. They lost 11-2 to the Eagles. The loss put an end to the Bulldogs' undefeated start to the season.

Waterloo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Lindhorst, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Belleville East got the win against St. Joseph-Ogden on Saturday by a conclusive 8-2.

Belleville East now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Waterloo, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
