Volleyball Recap: Franklin Community Takes Down Greenwood in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Franklin Community had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Greenwood Woodmen with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

Leading Franklin Community to victory were Jackson Clements and Titus Cross. Clements had eight digs and two aces, while Cross had five digs and one assist. That's the most digs Cross has posted over his last five matchups.

Franklin Community has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season. As for Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

Franklin Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Columbus East on the 17th. Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
