Basketball Recap: Armstrong Skates Past Richmond City School of the Arts with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Henrico, Armstrong was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs, posting a 76-3 win. That 73 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Armstrong is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Richmond City School of the Arts, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Armstrong didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-64 victory against Mechanicsville on the 28th. Richmond City School of the Arts has also already played their next contest, a 71-9 defeat against L.C. Bird on the 28th.
