Granville Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 57-29 loss at the hands of Genoa Christian Academy. Granville Christian Academy has struggled against Genoa Christian Academy recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Granville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Ella Rhoads, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rhoads has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isabel Hamilton, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Granville Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Genoa Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Granville Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Genoa Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Delaware Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Delaware Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
