Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame lost against Boyd-Buchanan back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish fell 56-48 to the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers.

Despite the loss, Notre Dame still got an impressive performance from Gaas Herman, who posted 23 points. Herman is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 23 games he's played. Walt Wagnon was another key player, putting up eight points.

Notre Dame now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
