Volleyball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Huntsville. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Huntsville this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss last Saturday.

Reese McManus paced Caldwell's offense, picking up seven kills. McManus got some help from Lydia Giese and her 12 assists.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Huntsville, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-14.

Caldwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Temple on the 30th. As for Huntsville, they will host Madisonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
