Basketball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway lost against Carolina Forest back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Conway Tigers took a blow against the Carolina Forest Panthers, falling 56-9. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Conway still got an impressive performance from Rebecca Hemingway, who posted five points.

Miracle Mclean continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carolina Forest, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Mclean is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Davis, who put up six points in addition to eight assists and five boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Conway and nudges their season record down to 2-17. As for Carolina Forest, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Carolina Forest beat Conway by a score of 58-14 on Thursday.
