Meanwhile, High Point Central kept a clean sheet against T.W. Andrews on Thursday. They blew past the Red Raiders 4-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for High Point Central considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

High Point Central picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-8-2. As for Montgomery Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.

Montgomery Central took their victory against High Point Central when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
