Football Recap: Manhasset Comes Up Short

Manhasset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 20-7 to the Elmont Memorial Spartans. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Manhasset's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Elmont Memorial, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manhasset is set to take on their familiar foe Valley Stream South on Saturday. Meanwhile, Elmont Memorial will challenge rival Floral Park Memorial on Saturday.
