Softball Recap: Bridge City Comes Up Short

Bridge City suffered their closest loss since February 7th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Santa Fe Indians by a score of 5-3.

Bridge City has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-1 record this season. The win got Santa Fe back to even at 8-8.

Looking ahead, Bridge City will host Vidor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe, they will head out to challenge Ball at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Ball's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
