Volleyball Game Preview: Branson Bulls vs. San Ramon Valley Wolves + How To Watch

The Branson Bulls will head out to challenge the San Ramon Valley Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Branson is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Marin Catholic, who was ranked 14th at the time (Branson was ranked 25th). The Bulls fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Bulls' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Monte Vista came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against San Ramon Valley, but Colbie Albright wouldn't allow it. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs on Saturday thanks in part to Albright, who had 13 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The victory didn't come easy: Monte Vista scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Branson's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for San Ramon Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-8.

Branson was able to grind out a solid victory over San Ramon Valley in their previous matchup on October 11th, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulls since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
