Football Recap: Thomas Worthington Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Thomas Worthington had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Canal Winchester Indians 48-17. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Quinton McGhee looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 109 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (175.5).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Worthington will challenge Worthington Kilbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canal Winchester, they will take on Hilliard Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
