Softball Recap: Stringer Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stringer had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the French Camp Academy Panthers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kayleigh Douglas was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Townsend, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The victory (which was Stringer's tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for French Camp Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Stringer nor French Camp Academy have any future games scheduled.
