Baseball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Gravette's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Gravette rose to the challenge on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warren Lumberjacks 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since March 14th.

Gravette is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.

As of now, neither Gravette nor the Lumberjacks have any future games scheduled.
