Volleyball Game Preview: North Central Panthers vs. Roncalli Royals

North Central hasn't had much luck against Roncalli recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Royals at 7:00 p.m.

North Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Center Grove, who was ranked 12th at the time (North Central was ranked 22nd). The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Roncalli came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cardinals as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Roncalli was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Roncalli, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

North Central suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Roncalli when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
