Volleyball Game Preview: Westerville North Warriors vs. Reynoldsburg Raiders

The Westerville North Warriors will face off against the Reynoldsburg Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Westerville North is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Upper Arlington just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Westerville North sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Reynoldsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Chillicothe.

Reynoldsburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Westerville North, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.

Westerville North skirted past Reynoldsburg 2-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
