Volleyball Recap: St. James Comes Up Short

St. James's tournament run continued when they took on Mountain View Prep on Saturday. The Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars.

Mountain View Prep can attribute much of their success to Lexi Cheek, who had 11 digs and three aces.

St. James has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Mountain View Prep, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

St. James has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hartsville on the 27th. As for Mountain View Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Ninety Six on the 27th.
