Volleyball Recap: Kerr-Vance Academy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Kerr-Vance Academy managed to slip by Cape Fear Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Eagles on Monday.

While Kerr-Vance Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Cape Fear Christian Academy work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9, 26-24.

Marie Scott White paced Kerr-Vance Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. White got some help from Emma Caudle and her 17 assists.

Kerr-Vance Academy's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Kerr-Vance Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against The Oakwood School on the 23rd. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Lee Christian on the 23rd.
