Softball Recap: Mcgregor Extends Winning Streak to Eight

McGregor entered their tilt with West on Friday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 9-6. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly three runs.

Layla Goff was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Brylee Seward also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

McGregor's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for West, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-14-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McGregor will square off against Clifton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West, they will face off against Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
