Basketball Recap: Lanesboro Takes a Loss

Lanesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 72-59 to Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (55), the Burros still had to take the loss.

Lanesboro now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lanesboro has already played their next matchup (against Kingsland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against LeRoy-Ostrander.
