Baseball Game Preview: Sheehan Titans vs. St. Joseph Cadets

The Sheehan Titans will square off against the St. Joseph Cadets at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Sheehan got the win against Xavier by a conclusive 11-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph posted their closest win since May 18, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past Woodland Regional 5-3.

Jake Rios was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Gavin Rovinelli, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Sheehan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Joseph, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Sheehan suffered a grim 11-2 defeat to St. Joseph in their previous matchup back in April of 2018. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
