Softball Preview: Buchholz Bobcats vs. Columbia Tigers

Buchholz has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Columbia Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Buchholz can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Interlachen with a sharp 14-4 win. The victory was just what Buchholz needed coming off of a 13-3 defeat in their prior match.

Buchholz got a massive performance out of Jayda Cooper, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Madison Blackford was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Columbia beat Santa Fe 9-5 on Tuesday.
