Soccer Game Preview: Lake Dallas vs. Eagle Mountain

The Lake Dallas Falcons will challenge the Eagle Mountain Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Dallas will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Lake Dallas' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Springtown. The Falcons' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight games.

Anissa Garcia was the driving force of Lake Dallas' attack as she scored all three of Lake Dallas' goals, bringing her season total up to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eagle Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast on Tuesday, sneaking past 1-0. That one goal margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Lake Dallas' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those seven contests. As for Eagle Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.
